All cars prior to Silver Shadow II and T2 (1977) were fitted with choke solenoid RD8574 which included a bakelite cover.From 1977 on UD21161 was fitted and this solenoid did not include the cover.UD21161 is suitable for all earlier models but please be aware it does not include the cover and your old cover cannot be fitted to it.
