MAIN BEARING SET (0.010" U/S - OEM - Up to 1976) (RH2103P)

This is a set of 0.010" undersize main bearings for the S2 and S3 and the early Shadow/ T Type models (before VIN 24327). This set includes thrust washers.This OEM bearing set contains tri-metal bearings; the material make up consists of copper-lead alloy sintered to a steel backing with an overlay of lead tin.This material specification is the original specified by Rolls-Royce when the original V8 bearings were produced. Later bearing sets (RH2500) consist of the same dimension bearings but of a reticular aluminium tin material. Our tri-metal copper-lead bearings have the following properties which we believe make them the most suitable for your engine:Good compatability, embedability and strength with good wiping properties and better able to withstand poor or marginal lubrication.
