MODIFIED POWER STEERING PUMP ASSEMBLY (Late Series 3 models) (RH2657SXR)

This is a reconditioned modified power steering pump assembly that Bentley supplied. It is the type where the reservoir was fitted apart from the pump and connected by hoses. If you have the original type where the reservoir is fitted to the pump then you will need UE9846SXR. We recommend using Castrol Dextron TQII (a mineral oil).Reconditioning Process:1. Pump assemblies are striped, cleaned and inspected for worn internal parts, corrosion and reservoir tank damage.2. All seals and 'O' rings are replaced.3. All bearings and/or bushes are replaced where possible.4. Pump shaft re-polished.5. All internal parts are polished where required.6. The unit is then assembled in a clean environment.7. Unit is then hydraulically tested for approximately 30 to 60 minutes on a computer-controlled rig to assess performance, noise and evidence of external leaks.8.
