OVERHEAT REDUCTION KIT (RH13183KIT)

This is a Shadow II carburetter gasket RH13183P together with a new fixing bolt SPC1867P, two dowels SPC1862 and aluminium washer WHT002850P.It has been designed for all pre-Silver Shadow II models with a V8 engine. We have become aware that, after a fairly long drive in hot weather conditions, some cars suffer from the fuel in the float chambers evaporating. The thicker gasket in this kit insulates the carburetter from the inlet manifold and also gives a greater distance between the float chambers and the engine, thereby reducing the heat transferred from the engine and inlet manifold to the carbueretters and float chambers.The kit is easy to fit and has been proven to cure the problems of re-starting your car in hot weather conditions, particularly in countries where higher levels of ethanol have been added to petrol.
