REBUILT ENGINE (RS31RBSXU)

This was a running engine that we have had completely rebuilt. The following work has been carried out:The engine has been completely stripped and all parts degreased.The crankshaft has been repolished and the sludge traps have been cleaned out and had new o rings fitted.It has new big end and main bearings.The liners have been removed and new seals fitted. The liners have been honed.The pistons have been removed and machined to take a new set of rings.The oil pump has been removed and checked and a new drive gear fitted.The camshaft has been reprofiled and a new set of hydraulic tappets have been fitted.The cylinder heads have been resurfaced and reconditioned including new cotton valve stem seals and repolishing of the valve seats.We offer this engine rebuild service as well as a fully reconditioned engine rebuild for all post-War cars.
