REBUILT ENGINE (Silver Cloud II & S2) (RS1SXR)

This is a fully rebuilt engine. The following work has been carried out: The engine has been completely stripped and all parts degreased. The crankcase has been checked for internal cracks. The crankshaft is fully cleaned inside and out and has been repolished (and ground where necessary). It has new bearing sets - big end, mains, small end and camshaft. It has a new liners, liner seals and a reconditioned oil pump. The camshaft has been reprofiled and a new set of hydraulic tappets have been fitted. The cylinder heads have been inspected, measured which including valve guides, valves springs and valves. The cylinder heads have been resurfaced (and replaced where necessary) and reconditioned including new cotton valve stem seals and repolishing of the valve seats.All eight pistons & rings are replaced and conrods are measured. Modified rear crankshaft seal & housing fitted. All new gaskets and seals are fitted to the engine. Both rocker covers are professionally painted and polished.Once the engine has been completely rebuilt, it is then mounted onto our test rig and thoroughly tested for leaks and oil pressure readings.
