RECONDITIONED POWER STEERING PUMP BODY (Late Series 3 models) (UE9846SXR)

This is a fully reconditioned power steering pump without the reservoir. It is suitable for the late Series 3 models of Silver Cloud and S Type. It can be used to replace the original pump with the integral reservoir and also the modified pump supplied latterly by Bentley which locates the reservoir separately on the inner wing. We recommend using Castrol Dextron TQII (a mineral oil).Reconditioning Process:1. Pump assemblies are striped, cleaned and inspected for worn internal parts, corrosion and reservoir tank damage.2. All seals and 'O' rings are replaced.3. All bearings and/or bushes are replaced where possible.4. Pump shaft re-polished.5. All internal parts are polished where required.6. The unit is then assembled in a clean environment.7. Unit is then hydraulically tested for approximately 30 to 60 minutes on a computer-controlled rig to assess performance, noise and evidence of external leaks.8.
