SPEEDO TRANSDUCER (From 1977 to 1986) (UD20990A1U)

This is the transducer in the side of the gearbox that sends the signal to the speedo head.The number on the body of this transducer is 317986 and it has a fine thread. Some cars from 1983 onwards may have had a replacement speedo drive housing fitted in the gearbox in which case the later, coarse thread transducer (UD24231R) with body number 327206 may be required.
