This is an extension piece for the extraction tool for the thermostat on all cars from 1946 to 1965.In recent years thermostats RH9143 and UE30193 have been manufactured without the threaded 3BA holes to accept the original extraction tool RH639.This extension screws onto the original tool RH639P and fits over the top of the thermostat and allows it to be extracted if the thermostat does not have the threaded holes.Please note that you do not require this extension piece if buying RH639P or loaning RH639LOAN.
