GASKET (Gearbox sump - very early cars) (UG145)

The first automatic gearboxes (C1 gearbox series) were fitted with a steel (rather than aluminium) sump that was a slightly different shape to the later sumps.Early sump part number is UG1115 and this is the gasket for that sump.Later sumps are UG765 and take gasket UG809.The oil pipe for the ride control on these early cars comes out of the sump. On later models it comes out of the main gearbox casing.
