MODIFIED PUSH ROD KIT (RH3143U)

The earlier Silver Shadow and Bentley T models before VIN 20755 were fitted with a solid brake pump push rod housing and different length push rod. It was found that the solid housing did not allow sufficient lubrication causing the push rod to seize in the housing and the solid push rods were found to be too strong meaning that if they seized they damaged the brake pump. RH3143 is a kit of parts to convert these early models to the later push rod set-up, with a large cut-out in the housing for added lubrication and the later style push rod with a wasted section which will cause the rod to snap should it seize.
