OIL RETAINING CAP (Crankshaft main bearing cap) (RE14142)

This is the oil retaining cap for the main bearing cap journals on the crankshaft.Early MkVI models had a rubber bung in number 7 journal so 11 caps are required for these cars.Later MkVI and R Type models with a manual gearbox require 13 caps per crankshaft.MkVI and R Type models and S1 and Silver Cloud I models with an automatic gearbox list 12 caps RE14142 and one cap RE13449 (which is NLA).
